Building on work with other inspiring and growing social enterprises, as Training Manager, Edith helps Abode to capture innovation and share it through training, and build up new skills in our staff, as well help them keep current with the ever-evolving realm of residential electrification. Edith is also the lead trainer for Rewiring America’s Electric Coach Course, where she’s helping build a nationwide team of volunteers who guide neighbors through the process of electrifying their homes. (Over 1,500 people have gone through this program!). Her hands-on experience includes transforming two century-old three-family buildings in Boston into high-performing homes on the path to full decarbonization. Along the way, she built her knowledge of building science, energy efficiency and residential decarbonization. She specializes in making these complex topics accessible, helping homeowners make their homes healthier, greener and cozier. Her favorite green appliances? Her induction stove, EV, and her clothesline.
