Cheryl supports residents as they move toward energy efficiency and decarbonization in their homes as a Residential Decarbonization Advisor in the Mass Save program. Cheryl came to Abode with broad life experience. After growing up in Massachusetts, she spent many years living in southern Brazil raising her four children and gaining fluency in Portuguese, as well as co-managing a large residential construction project. She engaged in years of sustainability work with her Town sustainability committee. After completing a second baccalaureate degree from Worcester State University in 2020 in Urban Studies and working as a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator for a local nonprofit organization, she has put her people skills to work for Abode on tangible solutions for change. Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys her family and friends, volunteering, day trips, and photography.
