Miguel started his career in energy efficiency in 2021 as an incentive processor on the Energy Trust of Oregon’s residential program. He was motivated to learn more about building science, so he pursued a graduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in Sustainability Science, graduating with an MS in 2023. His interest in energy efficiency, building science, and decarbonization has led him to his current role at Abode. As a Residential Decarbonization Advisor, Miguel consults homeowners in the Mass Save program on their journey towards energy efficiency and decarbonization. In his free time, Miguel is out running in the woods or hiking with his dog and family.
