Shannon has centered her career around helping others and advocating for the environment. After graduating with a dual degree in Biological Systems Engineering and Natural Resources & Environmental Conservation, Shannon set out to find ways to use her knowledge to help others. In doing so, Shannon learned to use her technical background and communication skills to help others take advantage of new opportunities to decarbonize and improve energy efficiency. Shannon has spent the past 5 years on this front helping local governments, nonprofits, community stakeholders and homeowners across the Northeast. Today, Shannon is thrilled to be at Abode working with Airbnb on their first ever Home Energy Efficiency grant program in the U.S.!

In her free time, Shannon enjoys spending time with friends, family and her dog, Buddy. You can find her outside hiking, camping, hammocking and refining her wildlife identification skills.
