Vanessa Pineda is a Senior Residential Decarbonization Advisor at Abode, where she provides decarbonization consultations to residents across Massachusetts through the Home Modernization Navigator Program. In her role, she supports homeowners in identifying opportunities to reduce their carbon footprint and transition to cleaner, more efficient home energy systems. Vanessa holds a degree in Environmental Engineering and a master’s in City Planning. Before joining Abode, she served as the Energy Manager for the City of Salem, MA, where she worked toward community Net-Zero goals, and later as an Energy and Sustainability Analyst for the City of Cambridge, MA, analyzing municipal energy use and supporting sustainability initiatives. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys exploring nature and spending time outdoors.
